·         You may also use a hairdryer, heat gun, or hot plate, but be cautious not to overheat the phone—the display and internal battery are both vulnerable to heat damage.

·         If you're having difficulties generating a space, try applying additional heat to the edge and repeating the previous process.

·         To assist remove the glue, consider putting a few drops of high concentration (above 90%) isopropyl alcohol into the seam.

·         Before applying heat, do not attempt to cut the glue that is holding the edges down. If you do, the rear cover may crack.

·         If cutting becomes tough, reapply heat to the edge before proceeding.

·         When cutting around corners, make sure the corner is completely heated.

·         This is a good time to turn on your phone and verify all features before sealing the rear cover in place. Before you begin working, make sure to turn off your phone entirely.

·         You can reattach the rear cover without changing the glue if desired. Remove any big clumps of glue that may be preventing the rear cover from resting flush. Heat the rear cover and apply pressure to secure it after installation.
